Pretty uninspired today. Almost up to the midpoint (which is as far as I've outlined).

Three pages is pretty good for an uninspired day!

Just sitting at home procrastinating before going to work. Should have been in my first store an hour ago. But after such a fantastic marathon (despite the lack of certain "elements") it is really hard to give a S**T about work.

Still i had a rather encouraging occurance on friday. I went through a phase a couple of years back of pretending i was a screenwriter by buying screenwriting books. I didn't read them. I just put them on the shelf and was able to convince myself that essentially i had books on screenwriting therefore i was a screenwriter. Cunning.

Anyway, i took a look at the shelf on friday and i saw one Linda Seger book called "Making a good script great". And to my surprise i thought to myself 'Yes. I do have a good script and I would like to know how to make it a great script'. It's probably the first time I have been able to say such a thing. It was a pretty momentous occasion.

And so I am now actually reading one of my screenwriting books.

Yeah, that is pretty momentous. I too have my shelf of screenwriting books from when buying books seemed far preferable to actually writing anything. And they are a hellava lot more useful when you've actually written something.

Congratulations!
