Page 67 of first half rewrite

Just rewrote midpoint and it's sucking. Hitting the wrong note. Have to take some time out and plot the next sequence I think. Have 75 pages of script but not sure what to do with sequence up to 75. Stopped early today because it's just not working.

Some days it just goes like that. The way i figure it, it is the first draft. It aint supposed to be Shakespeare.

Ahh, Shakespeare. The worlds greatest exploitation writer. If he'd lived another few years he would have finished that first draft of "Vampire cop, Ricky."

Dunno about that. But I figure he would've written at least one Die Hard.

He did didn't he? The director took all the credit, but Billy boy Shakespeare got a large cheque for all his last minute rewrites.

Glad to know the ghost of Billy Shakespeare is still getting better at the craft. Real writers won't let even death stop them.

Three pages yesterday and close to two today. Takes me through to around 50 pages, which is great going for me for two weeks.

Thinking if I can do an average of 20 pages for the next three weeks, I should finish this phase of things in three weeks time.
