In 'How to write a movie in 21 days'* Viki King suggests a break on day 8 (there again she reckons you wrote the Raw draft on days 1 to 7).
Most modern religions (Christianity, Judaism, Islam, Buddhism (Uposatha)) have a break every seventh or eighth day. The Han dynasty had a break every 5 days and I think the Aztec had a rest day every 10th - which I think all goes to show there is a long tradition of resting - and I think it is a vital part of the life cycle myself!
*=(as featured in the draw of Griffin Mill (Tim Robbins) in 'the player')). It is a book I swear at as much as by, and one of those 'how to write' which I have never managed to read all the way through (since gritting ones teeth eventually will destroy them).
Though No one I know, who has used it, has ever managed to write a script in the 21 days, everyone I know, who has used it, has eventually managed to write a first draft...

Sounds fair enough. Enjoy your Day Of Rest!
All I want to know is what the hell were either of you doing being up so early on a Sunday morning!!
I'm an insomniac from way back. Generally wake up early whatever.
